In recent years, inkjet printing has undergone great changes from technology and application to the market, and it has developed rapidly. Many printing companies have taken a look at the mature technology and fiery emerging applications of inkjet printing. They have invested in inkjet printing, and even shifted their focus to inkjet printing.
So, what level of application of inkjet printing in China has reached? How do companies see the future development of inkjet printing? What are the plans? The user survey of the inkjet printing system organized by Corprint Media's “Digital Printing” magazine aims to understand the practical application of inkjet printing in China and the knowledge and mentality of practitioners in inkjet printing, thus promoting Chinese inkjet printing. The application and development.
Among the main businesses of the sample companies, there are 12 companies that choose “traditional printing”, accounting for 18.8% of the total number of samples, and 24 companies that choose “digital printing” account for 37.5%, choosing “both” There are 28 companies, accounting for 43.7%.
In the survey, 59.4% and 43.8% of the companies respectively filled out the sales and profits of the company's inkjet printing business in 2005. The average sales volume of these companies in the inkjet printing business in 2005 was 4.71 million yuan, and the average profit was 1.05 million yuan.
Second, equipment and production
In terms of the amount of investment in inkjet printing equipment, 50 sample companies have completed this. The survey showed that 20% of the companies invested 1-10 million yuan, and 52% of the companies invested 10-50 million yuan, accounting for the largest proportion; 16% of the company's investment amounted to 5-100 million yuan, and 8 % and 4% of the company's investment are respectively 100-500 million and 500-1000 million. The average investment of these 50 companies' inkjet equipment is 1.008 million yuan. From this, it can be seen that the amount of investment in ink-jet printing equipment varies from company to company, but overall, nearly 90% of sample companies have invested less than 1 million yuan.
In addition, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, and Canon’s products account for most of the brands of inkjet printing equipment owned by sample companies.
Third, future development and brand awareness
Conclusion: According to the survey results, inkjet printing has been rapidly developed in recent years, and the application field has also been very effective. There have been hot areas such as digital proofing and art reproduction; nearly 90% of companies have applied inkjet technology. The amount of investment in printing equipment is less than one million yuan; awareness of the future market development of inkjet printing is increasingly rational and mature. At the same time, we also found that there are some problems in the inkjet printing market, such as the lack of operating rate of the equipment and the concentration of applications. Despite this, we believe that after recognizing these issues, people in the industry will work together to promote the development of inkjet printing in China.
